Two National Standards of WLAN in due form

Nowadays, two national standards «Information Technology—Telecommunications and information exchange between Systems—Local and metropolitan area networks—Specific requirements—Part 11:Wireless LAN Medium Access Control(MAC)and Physical Layer(PHY)Specifications» and «Information Technology—Telecommunications and information exchange between Systems—Local and metropolitan area networks—Specific requirements—Part 11:Wireless LAN Medium Access Control(MAC)and Physical Layer(PHY)Specifications:Higher-Speed Physical Layer Extension in the 2.4GHz Band»that was drafted by the China broadband wireless IP standard working group were put forward in due form.

The wireless LAN standards are the basic technology Specifications and its application Specifications for wireless LAN media access control and physical and its expansion. The two standards adopt the international standards ISO/IEC8802.11:1999 and IEEE Std 802.11b-1999, take into consideration the connecting of wireless products, and give the technology-solving scheme and specification requirements according to the security of the wireless LAN. The two standards would effectively regulate and direct the application and development of wireless LAN products.
